What you'll do:

  • Maintain fork truck safety audits and direct warehouse safety activities.

  • Identify work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.

  • Set up inbound and outbound loads and confer with Plant Planner and inside sales to ensure inbound and outbound loads are handled correctly and efficiently.

  • Work with managers inside and outside the plant to ensure coordination of warehouse activities, production, inventory management, and quality assurance.

  • Ensure receiving reports accurately report material received.

  • Monitor the unloading of all materials into the receiving department.

  • Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.

  • Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.

  • Maintain high standards of quality with respect to raw materials and finished product.

We need you to have:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.

  • Two years supervisory experience.
