SEIU Hourly Rate: $28.82 (Step 76) to $38.98 (Step 99)
Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Assembler I/II
SEIU Maintenance (Grade 152)
SEIU Hourly Rate: $30.89 (Step 76) to $40.39 (Step 99)
Under general supervision, performs skilled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, primary and some secondary repair, and modification to a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and components found in revenue vehicles; performs related work as assigned.
The selection process will include a screening for minimum qualifications as listed in this posting and may additionally involve a skills/performance test, written exam, and/or a panel interview. Outside applicants will not be considered until all employees who have applied have been considered first.
Equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly. Appropriate trade or technical school course work is desirable.
Other Requirements:
Must possess color vision to distinguish parts and wiring, physical strength to lift up to 30 pounds and the physical capability to perform the work required; some positions require a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record to deliver parts.
