Position Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct patient care and support activities, which build and maintain an Eskaton Rehab Services Center of Excellence. Aids in the restoration and enhancement of independent function in those individuals whose independent living status has been compromised by illness and/or injury.
The salary for this on-call position is $52.00/hour on weekdays and $63.00/hour on weekends. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

Qualifications
Education:
MA/MS Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current CPR certification preferred. Successful completion of a certification process and California license as required by state and community regulations. Needs of community may require that a Speech-Language Pathology has a current state driver's license.
Training and Experience:
Some experience in a skilled nursing community rehab environment or equivalent preferred.
Job Knowledge:
Must have an understanding of the principles employed in Speech-Language Pathology. Must have skills in Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment planning and techniques. Knowledge of pertinent medical terminology. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
