Job Description

Overview:

In this role the individual will be responsible for performing a variety of overall evaluation, design, analysis, best practice, coupled with an IT framework controls that drive business results aligned IT technologies and solutions. Overseeing technical designs, roadmaps and migration for future state and stability of existing systems. The Individual will also be responsible for strategies in managing critical business ERP systems, Cloud Services, Third Party Applications, Vendor and Services for the required business solutions. As well as implementation of best practice, Risk Management and Security aligned with instructions and work closely with the DBA team to deploy the solution into UAT environment and Production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)

Primary Responsiblities:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies that can improve IT department performance and increase company profits.
  • Creating and implementing IT policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Working with upper management and senior IT staff to develop the IT department budget.
  • Ensuring that IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to company-wide goals.
  • Overseeing contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Communicating with other executives regarding costs, value, and risk-potential of new IT projects
  • Working with IT staff on development and implementation of best practices, ITIL framework and IT Security Policies.
  • Driving synergies between different cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitating adoption, improvement, and utilization of existing IT solutions.
  • Planning and budgeting for the IT department.
  • Planning and strategizing to control costs and improve productivity and ensure return on investment (ROI)
  • Overseeing Managed Services and third-party vendors.
  • Development of IT Projects and Roadmaps. Establishing key IT initiatives, goals, timelines.
  • Overseeing implementation and integration of business systems.
  • Overseeing key IT functional areas within the IT Organization.
  • Infrastructure functional area WAN/LAN/WLAN network, security, cloud, Azure, Microsoft O365, Intune, Defender, Teams, Voice , and management of IT Directors responsible for optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, security, data and voice communications, projects, managed Help Desk services for Windows and MACs.
    1. Strategizing data security and disaster recovery plans.
    2. Recommending upgrades for EOL/EOS systems for purchase.
    3. Ensuring security of all information and computer systems and digital data.
    4. Support of escalations and solutions for computer systems issues as they arise.
    5. Overseeing Cyber Security and Awareness.
  • Business Enterprise Systems functional area Oracle NetSuite ERP, Manhattan/Active Scale, Cloud, EDI, Ecommerce, legacy ERP and third-party applications.
  • Business Enterprise Development for Oracle NetSuite ERP and Boomi Integration.
  • Business intelligence functional area Oracle NetSuite and external third-party overseeing manager responsible for functional area and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with ERP system, WMS and Planning Systems
  • At Least 3 years of experience working in Supply Chain and E-Commerce systems.
  • At Least 3 years of experience working with multiple IT team members on Systems integration, Cloud computing and SaaS applications
  • At Least 3 years of experience in Microsoft security technology roadmap and licensing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Experience in software design and architecture.
  • At least 3 years of OA Framework, SOA architecture, utilizing ERP public API's and Open Interfaces.
  • At least 5 years of experience in programming language.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding BI tools and Integrating with ERP, WMS and Planning tools
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing cross functional, remote teams for on-going development, production support, process improvements, technical design of ERP and WMS systems and strengthening of integrations with multiple systems.
  • Experience in collaborating with business stake holders to identify each business unit requirement and assess technology needs.
  • Experience in driving digital transformations and modernize IT infrastructure
  • Experience with having regular updates to top level management
  • Exposure to different process areas like R2R, P2P, O2C, D2B, PLM
  • Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
  • Ability to display accountability for IT team and projects.
    • Analytical mind and great problem-solving skill
    • BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field

Plus to have:

  • A working knowledge of Supply-Chain is a big plus in the following Oracle NetSuite (ERP), Boomi (Middleware), Logility (Demand Planning), Manhattan SCALE (WMS), EDI systems (TrueCommerce, OpenText etc.)
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pace and high-pressure environment with multiple priorities without the need for micromanagement.
    • MSc/MA is a big plus
