Note - This position is only eligible for individuals currently working at the Travis TOCCC Work site.

Position Summary: Responsible for the scheduling of personnel for a 24-hour a day 7 days a week operation.

Responsible for overall operations and employee supervision. Answers incoming and outgoing calls in a timely, courteous manner on a multi-line switchboard.

Essential duties and responsibilities(3-5 core functions representing 80% of time spent):

  • Maintains payroll information, including annual leave, sick leave, etc.
  • Maintains supplies reorder schedule and request supplies as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between NewView Oklahoma, on-site personnel Travis AFB personnel. Acquires visitor passes and sponsors visitors onto Travis AFB.
  • On call 24 hours per day to answer employee questions, customer request, emergencies, equipment outages and other urgent matters that cannot wait until the next business day.
  • Provides training to operators. Assists with the implementation of assistive technology and trains visually impaired operators on adaptive equipment and software. Also provides general orientation of the organizational structure of Travis AFB.
  • Is aware of and is able to facilitate the usage of appropriate rules, regulations and instructions for the Department of Defense, Air Combat Command and Travis AFB.
  • Is responsible for the prompt and courteous handling of all customer service issues.
  • Maintains the official historical record, provides current information and instruction on Telephone Switchboard Operations and other operational paperwork. Provides all pertinent record keeping paperwork.
  • Maintains and monitors the inventory of Contractor Provided Equipment, Government Provided Equipment (GPE), NewView Software, office supplies and other supplies.
  • Performs any special duties assigned by the Switchboard Project Manager.
  • Will at all times represent NewView Oklahoma in a professional, courteous and respectful attitude in conduct, appearance and association.
  • Wears all protective equipment required by department.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures including departmental safety policies.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):

  • Computer and switchboard experience and/or training required.
  • Preference given to those with experience and/or training on a multi-line switchboard system.
