ReNuke Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior RCT to support our project at Lawrence Livermore National Lab in Livermore, California. Candidates must have experience with Americium, Possess a current CORE card, have current HAZWOPER, and can pass a HAZMAT physical.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Performance and documentation of the following in accordance with LLNL and DOE procedures: a. Radiation and contamination surveys of potentially contaminated materials
*Collection of samples to support remediation activities.
*Contamination control surveys of personnel and equipment
*Waste characterization surveys, Department of Transportation surveys, and sampling to support transportation and disposal.
*Experienced working under environmental QA programs; documenting activities, chain of custody, etc. Be able to recognize and communicate to the Site Supervisor, Project Radiation Safety Officer (PRSO), and site workers shortcomings in radiological safety and characterization activities.
