Senior Run Engineer - SMIS

Job Description:

Senior Run Engineer - SMIS positions offered by E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA). Provides high quality technical and functional support and development for applications and systems in the Sales Management Information Systems (SMIS) space. Works with minimal guidance to analyze business requests, system problems, and optimize opportunities to develop and deliver technical specifications and solutions. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, provides training, installs, and maintains complex applications, program integrations supporting SMIS this includes developing stored procedures in PL/SQL and supporting integrations with Oracle and our SAP Hana EDW to support upstream and downstream systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Data Sciences or a related field and 10 years of experience in the position offered or 10 years of experience conducting programming analysis, software engineering or software development. Also requires 10 years of experience using PL/SQL for stored procedures and triggers in Oracle PL/SQL. Requires 6 years of IT experience: supporting the Wine & Spirits industry specifically with 3 Tier Systems; using control markets (Domestic and Canada), VIP, and major domestic distributor reporting processes; analyzing Nielsen TDLinx data within the Wine & Spirits industry; working with SAP Hana, DataStage, ETL Tool, and Automic; performing data flow analysis and data analysis and implementing process improvements; leading IT projects and teams; defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions; interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form including abstract and concrete variables; using development toolset, development processes, and Quality Assurance methodologies; using network management, service management, ITIL, SLA's and outsourcing; and working with the ITIL, Agile, and Change Management module within ServiceNow. Position reports to Modesto, CA office. Company offers flexible work from home schedule, but in-office work is required, and individual must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

Hiring salary range posted: $125,778 to $147,000 per year.

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
