Natomas Vision Care is a well-established private practice serving the Natomas and Sacramento communities for over 40 years. Through a caring team of professionals, personalized care and quality products ensure patients receive a total eye and vision care experience. The practice offers comprehensive eye exams for children and adults, specializing in glaucoma care and contact lenses, and features a wide selection of fashionable eyewear and frames.

What you'll do:
As a fill-in or part-time Optometrist, you'll provide eye care services for patients of all ages, diagnose vision problems, promote good eye health through patient education, and recommend vision-enhancing products. You'll typically perform 12 to 14 exams in 30-minute appointment slots with paper charting. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, including optical coherence tomography, fundus photography, and other instrumentation. The practice is also a single doctor practice, with office hours from 9am-6pm (closed one hour for lunch). The rest of the staff will do all pre-testing, room set-ups, and imaging for you as well.

Who we're seeking:
We're looking for a self-motivated team player who works well with patients and staff to fill in on the following dates in 2024: April 8th-10th, April 29-30th, May 1st, and July 8th-10th. The right candidate may also be considered for a part-time associate position, which requires one day a week (flexible on the day).

Minimum Qualifications:

• California-state Optometry license
