• Designs, develops, modifies and integrates computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of manufacturing, processing or production equipment.
• Applies advanced electronic control systems, designs and assists in the manufacture of consumer products and in the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines.
• Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products.
• Initial role will be in supporting senior Embedded FW Engineer to perform unit-level testing of codebase. Expected to take on independent design project within 6-12 months of starting.
• Embedded design work using microcontroller, FPGA and NXP-based processor.
• Create functional specs for new design, document FW implementation and testing requirements.
• Create module-level functional blocks and unit-testing capabilities for those blocks.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with Mechatronics background. Entry-Level position. New College Graduate accepted.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering with Mechatronics background preferred.
• Embedded FW and Software development background through school projects or internships
• Mechatronics curriculum with projects involving motor control and sensor integration
• Some level of electronics design through curriculum and interests / desire to learn on the job.
