Corporate Clinical Consultant:

As part of the Clinical Services Delivery Team you will work with a fun, dedicated and skilled multi-disciplinary group of individuals to support, teach and model our psychiatric rehabilitation model of care which utilizes evidence based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma informed care.

Full Time Position Hybrid with 75% Travel. Will need to visit campuses through out California, and will at times work remotely.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current license in the State of California as a clinician (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, Psy.D., Ph.D. O.T.)
  • A minimum of 5-years' experience in a supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting
  • Familiarity with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma informed approaches
  • Proven ability to work with others

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Partner with a small team to train and orient new clinical leaders on our clinical treatment model and operation systems.
  • Provide consultation and support to clinical supervisors and direct care staff.
  • Support programs to meet the stated clinical objectives, including clinical integrity; discharge dispositions and length of stay; non-coercive treatment outcomes; engagement outcomes; and provide the full spectrum of recovery services to all persons served.
  • Care Coordination - screening, assessment, care planning, intervention
  • As needed, fill in for vacant Program Director/ Clinical Director positions.
  • Support training and supervision in treatment planning, case conceptualization and documentation.
  • Continually explore best practices and evidence-based recovery practices to implement in the programs.
  • Assist campuses to support clinical interns, students and others who are exploring the mental health profession. Provide clinical supervision for licensed clinical professionals in compliance with the standards of county, state and regulatory agencies.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Participate in ensuring that Crestwood maintains the highest adherence to the CARF standards such as serving on the mock survey team.
  • Participate in campus activities such as DBT, Quality Improvement Committee, Safety Committee and Compassionate Care Committee, as requested.
  • Provide timely written and/or verbal feedback on campus consultations and other campus activities.

Program Development

  • Coordinate the development of new programs and services, as requested.
  • Enhance and support campus clinical and behavioral health services by documentation review, program delivery, clinical support.
  • Build the competency of the campus leadership in areas related to core program design.
  • Support campuses with crisis situations and/or person's served requiring specialized treatment interventions.
  • Partner with campuses to develop culturally competent services where all staff and persons served are welcomed, included, and supported.

Staff Education:

  • Provide for competency-based training based on needs identified through Performance Improvement Program reports, observations and requests, as well as training on new trends and developments in the field of mental health.
  • Work with facility and Home Office leadership teams, staff and person served in training capacity as needed.
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
Pay Range:
$120,640-$128,960 USD
