Description
  • Inspects, repairs, and maintains equipment as assigned using their knowledge and experience to perform top quality repairs in the quickest and most cost-efficient manner possible.
  • Utilizes equipment manuals and OEM repair literature to assure that original manufacturers' recommendations and repair procedures are being followed.
  • Insures the timely completion of the preventative/predictive maintenance programs. Implements the company's established program as well as suggesting and recommending additional ways of extending equipment service life and reducing downtime.
  • Coordinate scheduling, perform and maintain records of equipment calibration according to set standards and specifications.
  • Test and identify faults in equipment and systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Follows and promotes company Safety Policies, constantly keeping his personal safety and the safety of fellow employees foremost in his activities.
  • Practices good housekeeping maintaining shop and field-work areas clean, orderly and safe.
  • Maintains and records time spent on each job.
  • Keeps Supervisor fully informed on work progress, emergency jobs, and other interruptions to the schedule and job completion.
  • For the safe efficient and economical execution of all maintenance work scheduled or assigned to them. Includes clean up at the job site upon completion of each job.
  • Inspects the maintenance work of others to assure that all work is performed in a quality manner and that the appropriate testing was completed satisfactorily.
  • Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Work fair share of overtime as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience
6 - 8 years: Maintenance experience in chemical plant or similar setting (required)
