The Sacramento office was established in 2007 to bring Shannon & Wilson's legacy of technical excellence and strong client service to northern California. With a focus on high level infrastructure projects, the Sacramento office has established a strong foothold in the water/wastewater, rail, transit, and transportation markets. Soon we will be expanding to serve the dam and levee, and federal markets! We are looking for a geotechnical engineer with specific experience in levee design and construction to support our strong backlog of work. The candidate should be familiar with USACE design criteria and the Urban Levee Design Criteria. This role will focus on classical geotechnical engineering including site characterization, soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, seepage and stability analyses, earth retention structures, seismic assessment, and soft ground construction.
Job Responsibilities
The base pay range for this job is $125,000.00 to $185,000.00 per annum. The pay range for this position depends on skills, education, and experience.
