We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our high-performing team in Carlsbad, CA.

What You Will Do In Your RoleDevelop processes used in the assembly of Molex's opto-electronic productsInteract with suppliers, subcontractors and contract manufacturersDefine and conduct Designs of ExperimentsGenerate Statements of Work (SOW) and detailed project plans for new process development activitiesResponsible for improving, monitoring, and reporting manufacturing process health (yield, failure paretos, etc.)Experience with common packaging processes such as Die Attach, Wire bonding, adhesives, etc. The Experience You Will BringRequirements:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related scientific disciplineExperience with manufacturing process and process improvements Experience with statistical analysis methods, such as, DOE, Gage R&RExperience with failure modes and effects analysis Understands key aspects of packaging opto-electronic devicesExperience with reliability of packages and the impact of packaging on device reliabilityExperienced in statistical analysis software such as JMP, Minitab, etc. What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in active and passive optical alignment, adhesive processes, package sealing, fiber termination, etc.
  • Six-Sigma, Lean manufacturing experience/certification
  • Familiar with micro-optics

For this role, we anticipate paying $ 100,000 - $ 150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
