The Software Engineer intern will support AI & algorithm software component development for ophthalmic products.

• The intern will build generic test app that can improve software component verification.
• The intern will also be responsible for creating Python based analysis workflow solution and deploying it to the Azure Cloud.
• In addition, the intern will work on creating tools that can mine the existing retrospective data to enable AI development.

• Master or PhD program in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Proficiency with Python
• Familiar with image processing, computer vision and deep learning
• Familiar with software development tools and good at debugging
• Able to work independently and drive the development of the projects
• Experience with Azure cloud is a plus
• Experience with training deep learning model is a plus

SALARY:

The hourly salary range for this position is $27.00 -$33.00 hourly for a Masters Degree and $39.75 - $45.75 for a PhD. - SF BAY Area
